We have identified the following resources for seniors in our community. Inclusion of resources listed here are not an endorsement by Greentrees Village HOA and are provided as information for our members.

Medical Transportation Resources

• Rhody Express Bus - provides local transportation throughout Florence, including Peace Health campus, Monday - Friday.  More information at www.ci.florence.or.us

• Rideshare - may also be able to provide you with transportation within Florence

• Senior Connections Medical Escort Program provides transportation to medical appointments in Florence, Eugene/Springfield and Coos Bay/North Bend areas. Call 1-541-682-3353 for appointments and information. You need to pre-register with this service.

• Friends of Florence Van - Transports cancer patients to Willamette Valley Cancer Institute in Eugene and Oregon Urology in Springfield. For information and scheduling, call Gretchen at 1-541-683-5001

• Veteran's Transportation - provides transportation for medical appointments in Roseburg or Portland. Contact Jerry Blackburn at 1-541-997-4094 for information.

• Medicaid Medical Rides and Ridesource - a curb to curb service for people unable to use regular, fixed route bus service. An application process is required. For Medicaid transportation, contract Ridesource at 1-541-682-5566or 877-800-9899

• Florence Police Department - if you are worried about a neighbor but don't need an immediate response, call the non-emergency number 1-541-997-3515

• Suicide Ideation - if someone has suicidal thoughts, call 988, a new 3 digit dialing code for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

• Lane Senior Guide for other services such as counseling services, support groups, crisis hotline, drug and alcohol resources, food resources, and other services. Lane Senior Guide
