The annual charity Quilt Raffle is now on. ALL proceeds of the raffle go to the Christmas Giving Tree which benefits underprivileged children in Florence.
Tickets can be purchased at the Office or various events held in Greentrees. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Anyone can purchase tickets. Drawing will be held in mid-December (exact date to be determined and posted here) Need not be present to win, but will need to arrange pickup of quilt.
The quilt is on display in the cabinet in the library.

Charity Quilt Raffle
The annual charity Quilt donation is now on. ALL proceeds go to the Christmas Giving Tree which benefits underprivileged children in Florence.
Tickets can be purchased at the Office or various events held in Greentrees. Donation of $1 gets one entry into the drawing or a donation of $5 earns 6 entries. Anyone can make donations for tickets. (Need not be a resident to donate.) The quilt will be awarded on December 15 from all donation entries received. Need not be present to win, but will need to arrange pickup of quilt. The quilt group will display the quilts made for the Giving Tree at a quilt show on Dec 15 in the Rec Hall from 10 AM to about noon with the drawing for this quilt then. Snacks will be provided.
The quilt will be on display in the office. It will also be on display at events with donations for entries at those events.
The quilt measures about 43 1/2" x 60". It features colorful birds on a field of green grass and flowers. The alternate rows are blue floral and white stars, with birds in flight stitched in the stars and florals in the blue floral squares.
